Evaluation: What have you learned from your audience feedback? - Results of the questionnaires.

Open questionnaire results

Most people said they would recommend this video. This is an example of the two-step flow model as 'opinion leaders' will pass on their views to others, who will be more likely to then watch it themselves as they want to be able to make their own interpretations of the music video. The audience reception theory explains this a little more because it means that, if people then develop their own views and opinions of the product, then they aren't just passively accepting what is being shown to them or what someone else is telling them - they are interpreting it in their own way.
However, it is more likely that people are watching it because someone (or a few people) are watching it and they want to be able to understand what it is that they may be talking about, but it also means they will be taking in what they want.  Unlike the hypodermic syringe model which suggests that everyone is impassive and have no choice on what they take in.

Retaken photos:

These are some of the photos that I had to retake due to the use of a different actress for the performance scene. Each of the photographs would have to be edited and brightened as they are quite dull.

All done!

We have finally completed all of the filming for the music video, now the post production is being finalised and should be done by the 29th March.

Updates:

We now have plans to shoot the performance scene after school today as the location is availabe and so are the actors we need.
I also plan on retaking my photographs on Friday afterschool, since we are now using someone else in the performance scene of the music video.

Problems with filming the performance scene

Although we did have plans to film the performance scene tonight, there have been a couple of problems. One of them being that one member of our group had a prior commitment and could not make it. The other problem was that the location had been double booked due to a school performance that also needed the hall.

The reason we had to refilm our performance scene was due to problems with the actress we were using. Since we could no longer use the footage we had shot, we have had to arrange different plans. Now, we have a different actress who was already in the music video - therefore there is still a link between the singer and the music video. However, this also means we need to retake any photographs we already had and use the new actress.
